Tanaina is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. The responsibility for its governance lies with a volunteer Board of Directors. Membership to the Board is open to any community member with a desire to improve access to quality childcare for UAA students and the general Anchorage community.

The Board of Directors meets one evening per month and as needed for specific fundraising and/or governance issues.
